Landscape Genetics projects on woodland caribou. Before the winter field work begins, we will host a partners meeting on the CRD and Strategic NSERC research grants. The meeting will be at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, on January 9th.

New projects are being launched in collaboration with the Pangnirtung and Qikiqtarjuaq Inuit Knowledge Working Groups - meetings are scheduled for November 22-26, 2011.
Understanding and sharing our knowledge of the land is central to all conservation efforts.
The research projects presented on this site are collaborative efforts between federal, provincial and territorial governments, universities, Aboriginal groups, industries and communities. The site showcases a number of projects and gives the research team access to key documents and research tools.
